About the artist

Хугаев Николай

Nikolai Konstantinovich Khugaev (Ossetian: Хуыгаты Къостайы фырт Николай) was born on October 3, 1949 in the village of Khardisar, Java district, South Ossetian Autonomous Region.
In creativity, he prefers painting and drawing, working in various genres ─ portraits, landscapes, still lifes, genre paintings and more. His artworks are presented in the Tbilisi Republican Museum, as well as in private collections.
Nikolai Konstantinovich spent most of his creative life in Siberia, the Irkutsk region, the city of Svirsk.

Education
In 1970 he graduated from the Tskhinval Art College named after Tuganov M.S..
Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1984 (Union of Artists of Russia ─ since 1992).
